Home for Christmas
This is will be the first Christmas in ages we have stayed home for the holidays. So have the house all decked out, lights up outside, presents wrapped, cards out, and getting together with Sis tonight to make cookies. Mom and Dad will be coming in a few days, and Mark and the kids will come in on Christmas day. So we should have a good time with family, gifts, and lots of good food. Happy Holiday to All.

Fall is Almost Gone.
Hard to believe Fall is almost gone. Less than a week to Thanksgiving. Why is it when you get older time goes by so fast? Les and I went on a color tour and best colors were by our area. When we headed over by Ann Arbor by the Huron River, there were hardly any color. Strange.
Going to Uncle Mark's this year for Thanksgiving so should be fun. Mom, Dad and Aunt Annie and Les and the girls will be there. My girls will all be else where. Bummer. Going to miss the annual Black Friday shopping with them. Probably could not have bought much anyway. Usually don't, just fun to watch all the crazy shoppers. Ok, we act like the crazy shoppers.

The Old Stomping Ground
When we went to Ohio this past August for a wedding, we drove by the old home on Canterbury in North Olmsted. It looked so different because the trees are so big now. I wish I could have seen the pine tress (our x-mas trees we planted every year) in the back to see how big they have grown. It is hard to believe a family of 5 kids grew up in the small ranch home. It is a shame they made the front yard a parking lot, many games of kick the can and flashlight were played on that yard.

Jessica’s Visit to the Apple Farm
It was nice having someone from the South along this year when we visted the apple farm. We, who live in Michigan, take it for granted. The warm crispy donuts, apple cider and the hayride through the orchard. When we arrived it was raining, but cleared up enough to enjoy it. We all said even all we could have done was eat the donuts, it was worth the drive.

The Invasion of the …….
Praying Mantis……While I was working in the yard last weekend I saw this huge praying mantas on the porch. Looks like something for the War of the Worlds. He was more than willing to pose for the camera

Catch a Wave
Here are a few layouts I did recently and never posted.
I created this title with my new Cricut cartridge. It has so many fun phrases on it.
These pictures were taken last year when Bri was in Florida and I just had to scrap a page with them. Just love catching him doing what every little boy does…throwing sand.
This was taken last Thanksgiving when I showed even a Grandma can still rock on. Slow but Sure.
I posted some more layouts over at:

A Little Relief from the Heat
On my street…….One of the advantages of living in the Village is when the firemen have a slow day and the hydrants need checking and they need a little practice, they make a big sprinkler for the neighbor kids. The kids had a riot.
