On Brianna's blog she has a topic on traditions. Well I think our main family tradition is the annual family retreat to the cottage. We have been fortunate that every year the Byar's have made it up north to celebrate. And this year is no exception. Within this tradtion, there are many other small traditons. A few are:

Nightly Bonfires
2. Rafting Boats at Oyster Bay
3. The Landings
4. Breakfast over the fire
5.Kilwins Ice Cream
6. Sunset over Lake Michigan
7. Fireworks at the Pinneys
Anyone else have another Up North over the 4th tradition to add???

Ohh, I just remembered. I think one of my fav's is the pickled bologna. Yummmm.
I can't believe no one said "Looking for Petoskey Stones" Didn't realize that some people have no idea what they are? Friends who were up there this time had no clue what a Petoskey stone was..go figure!
