Tyler and Brianna have been at the house since last Thursday, and have had a busy time. When Mom and Dad heard Tyler was going to be here, they wanted to come down and see him. So they came in around 4pm on Friday. Had dinner and Les and the girls came too. Then ended up playing dice and had a riot. Haven't laughed that hard in awhile.
Then Saturday we were just hanging around and Steve Hathaway called and wanted us to come over to Grand Haven for the Coast Guard Festival, but Mom and Dad had to get back home. And we were afraid Tyler wouldn't enjoy the heat, etc. Really bummed we missed him. So ended up shopping at Ikea and walked around that for hours.
Then Sunday did a little more shopping and then scrapbooked the night away with Brianna. Meagan was suppose to join us, but she flaked out on us. We didn't get into bed until 2am and I had to work that morning.
Today -got home and had another good dinner (not used to cooking anymore) and now getting ready to watch a movie. Bri and Ty will head over to her in-laws on Wednesday and stay with them until they leave next Tues. Tyler is talking up a storm and Grandma introduced him to blueberries and he loves "boo berries"

We are really enjoying our time here. Tyler loves Grandma's house and his new "choo choo" that she got for him! We are going to be sad to go home next week.
Hey Bri's in town...my mom's here this week also...we are doing some canning. So far i've made 8 jars of freezer strawberry jam. Tomorrow we are canning pickled beets. I"m preserveing the juice to make the next day beet jelly. Yes that's right beet jelly. I got the recipe from my aunt who swears that it tastes just like grape jelly. So we are going to give it whril...i'll let you know this winter how it taste...:) Anyway would love to see you all while your in town if it would work out...but I understand how fast your time goes when your visiting so I'll understand if it doesn't work out. your mom has my number...I've been gone the past two weeks on vacation and just got back on Sunday afternoon. Next week football practices start for Kyler...oh boy...pray for me...ha! talk to you all soon. Miss ya much...

Tyler is the CUTEST kid in the world! Everytime that I see a picture of him it makes me smile. He puts me in a good mood all the time! I always look at a picture that I put on my phone of me and Ty. I was cutting his hair! Love him. See You soon Ty!! Jess:)

Jan just wanted you to know that I'll be gone after 5pm for the next two weeks, Kyler has football practice at the high school in Stockbridge. But if you wanted to come by during the day that would be fine or over the weekend sometime. Just let me know what would work best for you, we will figure out something. We don't get home from practice till around 8:30ish. Not sure how late is too late for you, but I don't mind it being later as long as I can have the three kids in bed before you come. Or at least just Carson. He usually is down by 9:30ish at the latest. Let me know. Talk to you soon.
